The South African pricing for EA’s latest titles has increased yet again on certain platforms, creating a disparity between the price of PC, PlayStation, and Xbox One games in South Africa.<\/p>\n

This follows recent price<\/strong> <\/a>fluctuations<\/strong> <\/a>for EA games including Titanfall 2, FIFA 17, and Battlefield 1 in South Africa.<\/p>\n

The price of these games has changed again, and now varies greatly across the PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, and Origin.<\/p>\n

The table below lists the digital pricing for Titanfall 2, FIFA 17, and Battlefield 1 Standard Editions:<\/p>\n

The pricing comparison above shows a great disparity between local prices on different platforms.<\/p>\n

South African gamers recently experienced a price increase<\/a><\/strong> across all these digital stores, although it seems that while the PC pricing has remained the same, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 pricing has changed dramatically.<\/p>\n

Most notably, the PS4 versions of Battlefield 1 and Titanfall 2 are\u00a0R350 more expensive<\/strong> than the Xbox One version, with the Xbox One version\u00a0of Battlefield 1 Deluxe Edition being cheaper than the Standard Edition on PS4.<\/p>\n

The Deluxe Edition of Titanfall 2 is priced at R1,399<\/strong> on both the Xbox and PlayStation Store,\u00a0despite the price difference between the Standard Editions on both platforms.<\/p>\n

Only FIFA 17 is listed at an equal price of R1,149 across both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 stores, although this is a big change from\u00a0its R799 price tag earlier this year<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

MyGaming\u00a0reached out to PlayStation for comment but received no response by the time of publication.<\/p>\n
