While many are looking forward to the upcoming PS4 Pro and its enhanced abilities, one developer believes there’s a more secretive reason for the console’s development.<\/p>\n
In an interview with Polygon<\/a><\/strong>, Tomonobu Itagaki<\/strong> creator of popular franchises like Ninja Gaiden and Dead or Alive, revealed the truth behind the PS4’s extra power.<\/p>\n \u201cPlayStation 4 Pro is just rhetoric. The current gen doesn\u2019t have enough power to support VR<\/strong>, so they\u2019re releasing it to support VR”.<\/p>\n “I\u2019m going to get in trouble again for saying this, aren\u2019t I? Microsoft and Sony are going to be on my case for saying shit like this. PS4 Pro is not really their motivation.
