Steam has announced that\u00a0it is turning to\u00a0its community to\u00a0nominate games for this year’s Steam Awards.<\/p>\n

“This November you will get to choose nominees for 8 different categories as well as have the opportunity to create your very own award category,” Steam said.<\/p>\n

To nominate games, search for them in the Steam store, then click \u201cNominate this game for an award\u201d and select a category for that game.<\/p>\n

You may edit nominations by\u00a0going to a\u00a0game\u2019s store page and clicking on “edit” to change or remove your nomination.<\/p>\n

Awards will be given in the following categories:<\/p>\n

The \u201cTest of Time\u201d Award<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Break out the\u00a0‘Member Berries, it’s time to take a trip down nostalgia lane and pick the game that’s as good today as\u00a0the day you first played it.<\/p>\n

For the “We Didn\u2019t Think Of Everything” Award, Steam explained that senior members of the Steam Awards Selection Committee will review the most popular user submitted categories and select the best ones.<\/p>\n

You\u00a0will be rewarded with special badges depending on your level of\u00a0participation.\u00a0The tasks associated with each badge are:<\/p>\n

  2. Nominate a game in each category<\/li>\n
