Gamersmint<\/a> has republished a list of interesting Mass Effect 3 titbits originally spotted in the latest issue of Gameinformer. We already reported on a series of newly revealed details last week, including the fact that Mass Effect 3 will not introduce multiplayer to the series.<\/p>\n

The rest of this post may contain spoilers, so don’t say we didn’t warn you. <\/p>\n

More details<\/strong><\/p>\n

– In the beggining of Mass Effect 3 Earth is being attack by the Reapers. Although things look dire, it is revealed that there is one last chance for humanity to survive. It is assumed that this will be the driving force behind the game. <\/p>\n

– The Illusive Man has sent agents to take out Commander Shepard and co. <\/p>\n

– Combat will be more difficult, with a new focus on melee attacks. <\/p>\n

– Combat will be more varied, and battlefields larger. <\/p>\n

– AI will coordinate attacks better.<\/p>\n

– Shooting individual armour parts will have unique effects. <\/p>\n

– It will be possible to pick up enemy weapons. The soldier will be able to wield a large selection of weapons, while other classes will be more limited.<\/p>\n

– There will be a more comprehensive skill tree.<\/p>\n

– It will be possible to modify weapons.<\/p>\n

– Confirmed squad members: Ashley\/Kaiden, Liara, Garrus and a new alliance marine character called James Sanders.<\/p>\n

–  There will be ladders.<\/p>\n

– As expected, choices made in Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 will have severe consequences in Mass Effect 3. Special reference was made to sparing the Rachni.<\/p>\n

– There will be multiple paths to saving earth. <\/p>\n

Mass Effect 3 will be released for PS3, PC and Xbox 360 later this year. <\/p>\n
