{"id":112403,"date":"2016-11-29T14:45:03","date_gmt":"2016-11-29T12:45:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=112403"},"modified":"2016-11-29T14:46:18","modified_gmt":"2016-11-29T12:46:18","slug":"marvel-vs-capcom-4-could-be-coming-to-playstation-4","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/112403-marvel-vs-capcom-4-could-be-coming-to-playstation-4","title":{"rendered":"Marvel vs. Capcom 4 could be coming to PlayStation 4"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s been a little while since we&#8217;ve seen a Marvel vs. Capcom game, with the third instalment releasing back in 2011, but rumours suggest a new instalment into the cult-followed series is destined to be unveiled this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>The game is said to be lined up to make an appearance at the 2016 Playstation Experience event, which will take place this weekend.<\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.polygon.com\/2016\/11\/28\/13749536\/marvel-vs-capcom-4-news\" target=\"_blank\">According to\u00a0Polygon&#8217;s sources<\/a><\/strong>, the popular fighting game series will return without its iconic X-Men characters, and instead be bolstered with more of Marvel&#8217;s other characters, including new faces from the cinematic universe, including the likes of Groot, Dr Strange and Thor, among many others.<\/p>\n<p>This is because Capcom&#8217;s license with Marvel expired in 2013, and previous\u00a0Marvel vs. Capcom games and their downloadable content were pulled from Microsoft and Sony&#8217;s online stores at the end of that year.
