{"id":113481,"date":"2016-12-08T14:42:27","date_gmt":"2016-12-08T12:42:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=113481"},"modified":"2016-12-08T14:54:21","modified_gmt":"2016-12-08T12:54:21","slug":"heres-how-many-games-the-average-playstation-4-gamer-owns","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/113481-heres-how-many-games-the-average-playstation-4-gamer-owns","title":{"rendered":"Here&#8217;s how many games the average PlayStation 4 gamer owns"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MyGaming recently <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/113377-playstation-4-sales-cross-50-million-mark.html\" target=\"_blank\">reported <\/a><\/strong>on the news that the PlayStation 4 had passed 50 million units sold.<\/p>\n<p>Following this news, PlayStation also revealed the console&#8217;s lifetime software sales with PS4 physical and digital software purchases having topped 369.6 million copies.<\/p>\n<p>That means that the average PS4 owner owns around <strong>7.4 games on average<\/strong> &#8211; not too bad considering new AAA titles can retail for over R1,000.<\/p>\n<p>Those numbers will also no doubt rise during the remainder of the holiday system following the release of the new PS4 Slim\u00a0 and Pro consoles.<\/p>\n<p>Sony also recently slashed the console&#8217;s price in South Africa leading up to Christmas.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>How many PS4 games do you have?
