{"id":11424,"date":"2011-04-20T12:12:00","date_gmt":"2011-04-20T10:12:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"the-last-guardian-ico-and-shadow-of-the-colossus-collection-delayed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/11424-the-last-guardian-ico-and-shadow-of-the-colossus-collection-delayed","title":{"rendered":"The Last Guardian, Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection delayed"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sony has announced that they&rsquo;re delaying the launch of the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, as well as The Last Guardian, originally scheduled to drop around about now and Christmas respectively.<\/p>\n<p>In a statement over on the official <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.us.playstation.com\/2011\/04\/19\/update-on-the-last-guardian-and-icoshadow-of-the-colossus-collection\/\" target=\"_blank\">PlayStation Blog<\/a>, Team Ico&rsquo;s project director Fumito Ueda writes that, &ldquo;To provide more challenging and better quality of content to users and to fulfill First Party Studio&rsquo;s obligations, I decided to postpone [The Last Guardian&rsquo;s] release timing.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;All the members of my production team are working together at a fast pace to develop and release the game in First Party Studio quality.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;I sincerely apologise to all the customers who have been waiting for The Last Guardian for so long, but I beg for your patience. I will also announce the new release timing at a later time.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>No explanation for the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus delay, though.
