{"id":11490,"date":"2011-04-28T10:56:00","date_gmt":"2011-04-28T08:56:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"sony-expects-psn-back-online-within-a-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/11490-sony-expects-psn-back-online-within-a-week","title":{"rendered":"Sony expects PSN back online \u201cwithin a week\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&rsquo;s been a week now since Sony hit the PlayStation Network killswitch following an otherwise unspecified &ldquo;external intrusion&rdquo;, and the company has finally started issuing public statements on the matter &ndash; most recently an official Q&amp;A over on the official <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.us.playstation.com\/2011\/04\/27\/qa-1-for-playstation-network-and-qriocity-services\/\" target=\"_blank\">US PlayStation Blog.&nbsp;<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Perhaps the most pressing concern for most PSN customers is when the service will be back online so they can play Portal 2 co-op. Sony&rsquo;s senior director of corporate communications and social media Patrick Seybold says they&rsquo;re &ldquo;working day and night to restore operations as quickly as possible, and we expect to have some services up and running within a week from yesterday.
