{"id":11550,"date":"2011-05-04T00:59:00","date_gmt":"2011-05-03T22:59:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"rumour-control-wii-2-has-only-8-gb-internal-storage","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/11550-rumour-control-wii-2-has-only-8-gb-internal-storage","title":{"rendered":"Rumour control: Wii 2 has only 8 GB internal storage"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>The Wii 2 (or Project Caf&eacute;, if you want to sound thick) might be packing some internal bits and pieces to rival the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but if current rumours are anything to go on, it&rsquo;s not exactly standing up to its peers when it comes to internal storage capacity stats.<\/p>\n<p>According to <a href=\"http:\/\/kotaku.com\/#!5797890\/nintendos-next-console-will-enter-the-hd-era-but-not-the-hard+drive-era\" target=\"_blank\">Kotaku&rsquo;<\/a>s industry spies, the next gen Nintendo console has only 8 GB of internal storage capacity, which is just about nothing compared to the weapons-grade Xbox&rsquo;s 250 GB and the PS3&rsquo;s whatever-HDD-you-put-in-there (or 320 GB, standard).
