You may recall that back at the beginning of April, Irrational Games launched a competition<\/a> in which one lucky fan would have their name chosen to be used as the namesake for one of the buildings, businesses of characters in and around the air-city of Columbia.<\/p>\n

Well, Irrational Games has made up their collective mind<\/a> and a winner has been announced.<\/p>\n

“Out of well over a hundred thousand entries submitted to our “Name in the Game” event, the small–randomly generated!–list of potential winners included the name “Payton Lane Easter.” We couldn’t make up a more fitting name for a citizen of Columbia if we tried. So we didn’t. Our art leads chose it unanimously. Congratulations, Mr. Easter,” said Chris Remo, Irrational Games’ community manager.<\/p>\n

“So here’s the in-world advertisement for Payton Lane Easter & Sons Premium Automated Stallions. It was created by Irrational artist Mike Swiderek,” said Remo.<\/p>\n

Irrational Games hints that we should keep an eye out for this artwork during the next BioShock Infinite gameplay demonstration which is due for E3.<\/p>\n

Due to the popularity of this contest, it seems that the developer may have similar ideas in the pipe: “Check back on the Irrational site<\/a> later this week for another unique opportunity,” said Remo.<\/p>\n
