Creative Assembly may be best known for the Total War series, but it looks like its next step will be into the final frontier. At a press event in England, the developer announced that it is busy working on a game which targets the “core console gamer” based on the Alien franchise.<\/p>\n
Creative Assembly also mentioned that it plans to beef up its Horsham based staff count for the space game from 160 to 200 within the next year.<\/p>\n
The game will not be shown off at this year’s E3, and it is unlikely that anything more will be revealed any time soon.<\/p>\n
Creative Assembly has actually already released action-adventure spin off games to the Total War series, including Spartan: Total Warrior which was released on console, so this will not be completely new territory for the developer.<\/p>\n
