Today Kotaku has revealed some more details about the game, which will apparently feature gameplay sequences from locations such as New York, Paris and London.

According to Kotaku, Infinity Ward is currently working with Sledghammer Games and Raven Software to put the finishing touches on the game which is due out later this year. Apparently the game itself will kick off moments after the cliff hanger ending we were left with in Modern Warfare 2. Players will play as key characters from the franchise, as well as random soldiers, including a Russian Federal Protective Services agent, SAS operative, tank gunner and AC-130 gunner. There will be about 15 missions, with the first tasking players with holding off Russian invading forces in Manhattan.

Modern Warfare 3 will apparently resolve unanswered questions from previous games in the series, as well as introduce new characters who will appear in future games, including operatives codenamed “Frost” and “Sandman”.

Of course multiplayer will be a key component to the game, and there will be two types of Spec Ops modes: Survival and Mission. None of this has been officially confirmed by Activision, but the sources are thought to be pretty reliable.

[2

post-11750","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-business
["GET
