AMD has launched its new\u00a0Ryzen Pro processors<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>based on its Zen architecture.<\/p>\n

The new processor line-up includes Ryzen 3 Pro, 5 Pro, and 7 Pro CPUs \u2013 with the high-end versions boasting 8 physical cores and 16 threads.<\/p>\n

The new chips are aimed at professional users and will be implemented in traditional business desktops and enterprise workstations.<\/p>\n

AMD said its Pro processors boast a 52% increase in compute ability over its previous generation of similar CPUs, and the Ryzen 7 Pro 1700 features 62% more multi-threaded performance than competing products.<\/p>\n

Ryzen Pro processors will be available in the second half of 2017. Mobile versions of the chips are scheduled for the first half of 2018.<\/p>\n
