MyBroadband\u2019s Q2 2017 broadband survey results show that fibre subscribers are generally much happier with their service than those on DSL or wireless connections.<\/p>\n

The Q2 2017 broadband survey was completed by 4,071 South African broadband subscribers. These users were typically IT professionals and tech-savvy individuals.<\/p>\n

The users rated the value for money, network quality, and billing and support of their service.<\/p>\n

The top-rated fixed broadband service was SEACOM fibre, followed by Frogfoot fibre, and Cybersmart LightSpeed fibre.<\/p>\n

Fibre services dominated the rankings \u2013 but there was one exception.<\/p>\n

MTN\u2019s Smart Village fibre service was ranked as the worst broadband service, placing it lower than ADSL, VDSL, and LTE connections.<\/p>\n

The table below provides an overview of the results (scores out of 10). Services which did not receive enough responses in the survey are not listed.<\/p>\n
