Rockstar has dropped an automatic game update for LA Noire over Xbox LIVE and the PlayStation Network, bringing the game up to version 1.00 and not changing very much.<\/p>\n

According to the official patch notes, the update addresses the following issues:<\/p>\n

• <\/span>Fixes for several in-game store issues including age-verification for DLC purchases<\/p>\n

• <\/span>Fixes for minor gameplay bugs and graphical issues<\/p>\n

• <\/span>Fixes for several minor plot\/objective\/conversation issues<\/p>\n

• <\/span>Improvements in stat-tracking and Social-Club integration<\/p>\n

“As always, if you are experiencing any issues or have questions related to this title update, we implore you to contact our technical support team,” says the accompanying PR stuff.<\/p>\n

Since launching last week, the game has been the focus of some controversy over overheating PS3 consoles and locking up on Xbox, although the matter remains unresolved for the moment.<\/p>\n

Nonetheless, the detect-‘em-up has managed to maintain a pretty impressive Metacritic rating of 89 and 90 on PS3 and Xbox respectively. <\/p>\n
