{"id":11909,"date":"2011-05-25T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2011-05-24T22:00:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"ps3-loyalty-remains-following-psn-downtime-study","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/11909-ps3-loyalty-remains-following-psn-downtime-study","title":{"rendered":"PS3 loyalty remains following PSN downtime &#8211; study"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Gamespot&#8217;s industry research division, <a href=\"http:\/\/trax.gamespot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">GameSpot Trax<\/a>, has conducted an online survey whereby 2,285 PS3 users were asked whether the recent PSN downtime has affected their loyalty to the console.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>According to the study, 67% of gamers said that were &#8220;very likely&#8221; to continue using the PSN following the downtime. 14% said that they are &#8220;somewhat likely&#8221; to go back to PSN.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>64% of respondents said that they are &#8220;very unlikely&#8221; to jump ship and get an Xbox 360 as a result of the recent security breach, which 11% said they were &#8220;somewhat unlikely to do so&#8221;.
