MTN is developing a new platform for online media services, Manny Teixeira \u2013 group head of digital media and services at MTN \u2013 told MyBroadband.<\/p>\n
The upcoming platform will replace MTN\u2019s defunct video-on-demand offering VU, which was shut down in May.<\/p>\n
VU launched on 30 December 2014 \u2013 called\u00a0MTN FrontRow<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0at the time \u2013 and charged a subscription fee of R179 per month.
