LA Noire’s Rockstar Pass, previously MIA on its scheduled release two weeks ago, has finally turned up on Xbox LIVE<\/a>, with a PSN launch is presumably expected when the PlayStation Store reopens for business at the end of the week.<\/p>\n

Rockstar Games has also announced DLC plans for both Xbox 360 and PS3. According to the release: “Several standalone cases, collectibles and challenges will be released in the coming months on the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.”<\/p>\n

The Rockstar Pass comes as a DLC pack and is touted as “a new way to pre-order DLC.” The Rockstar Pass will be available for a limited time price of US$10 on PSN or 800Microsoft Points on Xbox LIVE a supposed 50% saving on purchasing the DLC individually.<\/p>\n

The Rockstar Pass DLC bundles access to seven pre-order incentives, in case you missed them the first time around:<\/p>\n

•    The Broderick Detective Suit
•    The Sharpshooter Detective Suit
•    The Badge Pursuit Challenge (Unlocks the Button Man Suit)
•    The “Naked City” Vice case
•    The “A Slip of the Tongue” Traffic case
•    The “Nicholson Electroplating” Arson case (available 21 June 2011)
•    The “Reefer Madness” Vice case (available 12 July 2011)<\/p>\n

These add-ons provide Xbox Achievements and a potential 100 Gamerscore, and PlayStation Trophies as well.<\/p>\n

Members of the Rockstar Social Club will also receive a free download of the Chicago Lightning Detective Suit and Rockstar will unlock the Chicago Piano machine gun for free to all players via the PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE.<\/p>\n
