It’s official, the PlayStation Store is back up and running in Europe and America. South Africans connect to the European store, and we can confirm that local users are once again able to login and buy stuff. It is however worth noting that multiple users are reporting receiving connection errors and slow access speeds when connecting to the store. This is thought to be due to high volumes of traffic with millions of users around the world simultaneously connecting to the store.<\/p>\n
After being offline for 6 weeks, the relaunched PSN store is stuffed full of goodies that were not there when we last logged in, including inFamous 2 and Red Faction Armageddon demos.<\/p>\n
The bad news is the Sony has not activated the “welcome back” program just yet, so you won’t be able to claim your two free games<\/a> right now. “You may have noticed that the content promised as part of the Welcome Back offer is not yet live.
