<\/a><\/p>\nBlizzard has launched a new beta version of its Battle.net client, which has several new features.<\/p>\n
This includes the ability to appear offline to friends.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe experience of appearing offline might be slightly different depending on which game you are playing,\u201d said Blizzard.<\/p>\n
\u201cIn the case of World of Warcraft, your guildmates will see your character come online and enter WoW\u2019s in-game chat channels, and anyone who has you as a character-level friend will see you online on their friends list. Everyone outside of the game will not see you online.\u201d<\/p>\n
Blizzard also introduced a Social tab, along with\u00a0groups, profiles, and avatars.<\/p>\n
It looks similar to chat service Discord and will let you start group voice chats.<\/p>\n
