Fibre Internet service provider Cool Ideas has found that offering uncapped, unshaped broadband reduces the technical challenges it faces as a business.<\/p>\n
\u201cOffering true uncapped and unshaped simplifies things, as all you are doing is moving more data, not restricting or tampering with it,\u201d said Cool Ideas cofounder Paul Butschi.<\/p>\n
Its only challenge is scaling with the number of new subscribers who join its network.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou need to plan for your upgrades way ahead of time based on signup and uptake,\u201d said Butschi.<\/p>\n
\u201cYou can\u2019t just throttle or shape customers if you don\u2019t have the capacity available.\u201d<\/p>\n
