Ubisoft has announced that it will be releaseing FarCry 3 next year. Sadly, few details were provided, although a gameplay trailer was shown which seems to confirm a return to the jungle setting of the first game. <\/p>\n
“Far Cry 3 brings something new and unexpected, while still building upon the foundations of excellence that are inherent to the Far Cry brand,” said Ubisoft’s Dan Hay.<\/p>\n
“Whether you’re already a fan of the Far Cry series or jumping into the franchise for the very first time, you’re going to be blown away by the gritty story and epic adventure we’re going to deliver.”<\/p>\n
The game was demoed live on the PS3, and is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal in conjunction with Ubisoft Shanghai and Ubisoft Massive. <\/p>\n
