If your files are missing, you have been affected by the bug.<\/p>\n<p>If you are one of the affected users,\u00a0Windows Insider head\u00a0Dona Sarkar said you must contact Microsoft, reported\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/news.softpedia.com\/news\/how-to-check-if-windows-10-version-1809-deleted-your-files-during-update-523091.shtml\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Softpedia News<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you\u2019ve run into the missing files after update issue for 1809\/October 2018 Fall update, please call our\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/donasarkar\/status\/1048612272287834112\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>support line<\/strong><\/a>.
