PC gamers have always looked down on prebuilt desktop PCs because manufacturers restricted their customisability.<\/p>\n

However, prebuilt PC manufacturers like HP are getting the memo and now offer completely customisable prebuilt desktop PCs.<\/p>\n

This is why, considering the current inflation of PC components, it is a no-brainer to go for the HP Omen 30L gaming desktop.<\/p>\n

At R40,999 on Evetech<\/a>, this PC clocks in at about the same price you would be paying for an Nvidia RTX 3080 Ti<\/a> right now.<\/p>\n

The Omen 30L will easily run most modern games at over 60 fps since it comes with an Nvidia RTX 3080 graphics card, an overclockable Intel i7-10700K CPU, and 16 GB of DDR4 RAM.<\/p>\n

Storage won\u2019t be a problem either, as you get a 2 TB NVMe and a 2 TB HDD included in the build.<\/p>\n

One of the features of the Omen 30L that I find most attractive is its small form factor. The case dimensions are 16.5 x 42.2 x 43.3 cm, meaning it will make a perfect addition to a minimalist, sleek setup.<\/p>\n

There are still some drawbacks to prebuilt gaming desktops, though.<\/p>\n

For instance, if you want to upgrade some of your components, you will have to buy them through HP at an increased price or risk problems with component incompatibility.<\/p>\n

However, for those who want a great gaming experience at a relatively affordable price (considering the current inflation in GPU prices), the Omen 30L is an excellent choice.<\/p>\n
