Performance<\/h3>\n
Sennheiser stays true to its reputation for excellent sound quality with the HD 350BT. \u00a0Unlike my JBL E55BT headphones that come standard with a bass-boosted response, the HD 350BT maintains a good balance across the bass, mid and treble frequencies to maintain sound clarity at higher volumes.<\/p>\n
Additionally, you can download the Sennheiser Smart Control app to customize the sound profile.<\/p>\n
The earcups provide good noise isolation, which is a comfort considering that this model does not have any Active Noise Cancelling technology.<\/p>\n
The HD 350BT has an excellent microphone, with every person that I\u2019ve called while wearing the headphones reporting that they could hear me clearly.<\/p>\n
Features<\/h3>\n
One of my favourite features about the HD 350BT is the device\u2019s spectacular battery life. It is the longest-lasting pair of headphones that I have owned so far.<\/p>\n
I use these headphones regularly throughout the day, only taking them off during lunch or when they get too uncomfortable. Even with this heavy usage, the average battery life I get from these headphones is about seven days, which lines up with the official spec of 30 hours.<\/p>\n
The headphones do not come with fast charging, so you will have to wait the whole two hours for them to be fully charged. This would be negated if the headphones had a 3.5 mm headphone jack, but unfortunately, it does not.<\/p>\n
Unfortunately, the controls are quite confusing and finicky, to the point where I begrudgingly opened the user manual after being unable to figure it out. I also didn\u2019t care for the dedicated Voice Assistant button since I never use the function anyway. The button layout isn\u2019t the most intuitive either, but it is bearable once you\u2019ve memorized it.<\/p>\n
The HD 350BT does offer Bluetooth multipoint technology, but I found it severely lacking and inconsistent. Connecting a secondary device rarely occurs on the first try, and I often found myself giving up and disconnecting the headphones from one device to switch to the other.<\/p>\n
One of my biggest issues with budget Bluetooth headphones is that the earpads often begin falling apart after significant use. This isn\u2019t a problem with the HD350 BT, as you can replace the earpads when they start showing signs of wear and tear.<\/p>\n Additionally, the headphones are sturdy and have a premium feel, unlike many other budget options that feel like they\u2019ll snap if you aren\u2019t too careful.<\/p>\n You might want to steer clear of this model if you have larger ears, however, as the earcups are far too narrow for the average ear to fit inside. This makes it difficult to wear the headphones comfortably for more than an hour at a time.<\/p>\n However, this ergonomic design, paired with the ability to fold the earcups inwards, allows for a very portable package that you can easily carry with you.<\/p>\n Sennheiser doesn\u2019t include a carrying case for the HD 350BT, so you\u2019ll have to buy one separately if you want to protect your headphones from minor dings and scratches – which are a concern given the headphones’ matte finish.<\/p>\n![\"Sennheiser](\"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/HD-350BT.jpg\")
