The Twitch streamer Nicholas “Nickmercs” Kolcheff conveyed his disappointment in the current state of Halo Infinite<\/em>, which feels abandoned and lacks engaging content.<\/p>\n

Halo Infinite<\/em> was released in November 2021 and had gathered a huge following of excited fans during its development stages.<\/p>\n

However, following an initially great reception of both the single-player and multiplayer components, Halo Infinite<\/em> has experienced a huge drop in players in recent months and it seems to have been forgotten by most gamers.<\/p>\n

The streamer and co-owner of FaZe, Nickolas Kolcheff, expressed on Twitter<\/a> that the game is a \u201cflop,\u201d which is a shame as it had massive \u201cuntapped potential.\u201d<\/p>\n

Nickmercs attributed this lack of success to poor content offerings and the fact that the game should have come with a battle royale mode.<\/p>\n

The steamer went on to say that a battle royale mode would have been nothing but a \u201cnet+,\u201d and the game needs to \u201cadapt or die.\u201d<\/p>\n

If we look at Halo Infinite\u2019s<\/em> Steam Charts, the steamer\u2019s comments are not far from the truth as the game has been losing players at an alarming rate.<\/p>\n

The chart shows that during the month of its release in November 2021, the average player base surpassed 100,000 \u2013 reaching 200,000 players at its peak.<\/p>\n

Since then, the average player base has dropped by almost 50% after each subsequent month, as the chart shows that in the past 30 days the game has an average player base of only 7,000.<\/p>\n

If the player base continues to decline, then steamer Nickmercs concerns could be fully realized as Halo Infinite\u2019s<\/em> player base continues to die off.<\/p>\n
