LulzSec has been getting up to no good for a number of weeks now, with many large gaming related websites being hacked. Escapist Magazine, Eve Online, League of Legends, Minecraft, Nintendo, Sony, Bethesda and BioWare have all had to deal with intrusions by the now notorious hacking misfits.<\/p>\n
At first it appeared to be all fun and games, with LulzSec apparently pointing out security flaws and having a bit of a laugh at these organisations expense, but now things have escalated.<\/p>\n
LulzSec has posted via twitter links to files containing over 62,000 e-mail account and password details. They have also been encouraging their twitter followers to try various combinations of the information with other social networking and gaming services. Some of their followers have been reporting success in this regard, claiming they have access to Facebook and WoW accounts.<\/p>\n
This might be a good time to go and change every password you have ever used. Sigh.<\/p>\n
