Warner Bros. has announced that Gotham Knights will no longer release on PS4 and Xbox One.<\/p>\n
The news came with a new gameplay walkthrough that showcases Nightwing and Red Hood.<\/p>\n
On the Gotham Knights website, Warner Bros. said that the last-gen versions of the game were cancelled “to provide players with the best possible experience”.<\/p>\n
This announcement shortly follows an update to the game’s PlayStation Store page that added 4-player co-op<\/a><\/strong> support, but this has since been reverted<\/a><\/strong> to only 2-player co-op.<\/p>\n Gotham Knights is being developed by Warner Bros. Montreal, which is the same studio behind Batman: Arkham Origins.<\/p>\n The open-world action RPG was initially set to launch in 2021 but was delayed to allow the developers more time to polish and fine-tune the gameplay.<\/p>\n Gotham Knights lets you play as either Red Hood, Nightwing, Robin, or Batgirl to protect Gotham City from being dominated by its criminal underbelly after Batman’s death.<\/p>\n The game does not occur in the same universe as the Arkham series and will feature combat designed around co-op.<\/p>\n Gotham Knights will release on 25 October for PS5, Xbox Series X\/S, and PC.<\/p>\n
