{"id":12499,"date":"2011-06-22T00:07:00","date_gmt":"2011-06-21T22:07:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"city-of-heroes-changes-into-free-to-play-suit","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/pc\/12499-city-of-heroes-changes-into-free-to-play-suit","title":{"rendered":"City of Heroes changes into free-to-play suit"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><p>Superhero MMOG City of Heroes will be saving the world for free later this year, with publisher NCSoft moving the game over to a free-to-play\/freemium subscription model.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Freedom is about getting more content into the hands of our players, whether they are subscribing or playing for free,&#8221; says executive producer Brian Clayton.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;To do this, we&#8217;ve looked at City of Heroes from the ground up and focused on three ways to enhance the experience by giving our players more choices, greater rewards and the best content we&#8217;ve ever produced.
