It’s that time of the week again to look back and examine which games were in the top ten on the Steam global revenue charts, according to SteamDB.\u00a0<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

This week, several of the list’s stalwarts have finally been displaced, and exciting new games make their way into the spotlight.<\/p>\n

As always, this list is based upon total revenue rather than copies sold; as such, games with a higher number of sales might not make it into the top ten if each copy is sold for a lower price.<\/p>\n

9. and 10. Red Dead Redemption 2<\/h3>\n

Red Dead Redemption 2 holds both the ninth and the tenth spots on this list, on this list because of how Steam records this title.<\/p>\n

Red Dead Redemption 2 has two versions – the base game and an Ultimate Edition – and they are recorded as separate entities.<\/p>\n

Although unusual, this has happened before, as was the case with Lego Star Wars: the Skywalker Saga during its release week.<\/p>\n

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently on sale, which may have contributed to it being in the top ten.<\/p>\n

It has a Very Positive user review score on Steam.<\/p>\n
