href=\"https:\/\/www.theverge.com\/2022\/5\/26\/23143448\/playstation-horizon-zero-dawn-netflix-series-tv-movie-push\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The Verge<\/a><\/strong>, Sony plans to turn its flagship video game franchises into TV series and movies.<\/p>\n<p>The most recent announcement revealed that the company is in the process of making a\u00a0<i>Horizon Zero Dawn\u00a0<\/i>series on Netflix and a\u00a0<i>God of War\u00a0<\/i>series with Amazon.<\/p>\n<p>Sony is also working on a movie adaptation of <em>Gran Turismo<\/em>, and while the company has not found a partner for the project yet, there are rumours that the movie will feature Neill Blomkamp (known for District 9 and Chappie) as its director.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>These adaptions add to PlayStation&#8217;s other projects, which include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a <strong><em>Twisted Metal series<\/em><\/strong> on Peacock<\/li>\n<li>an adaptation of <strong><em>The Last of Us<\/em><\/strong> for HBO<\/li>\n<li>a <strong><em>Ghost of Tsushima<\/em><\/strong> movie<\/li>\n<li>a <strong><em>Metal Gear Solid<\/em><\/strong> movie<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Sony is going all-in on turning its flagship video games into TV shows and movies, and some of these plans include big Hollywood names.<\/p>\n<p>For <em>Metal Gear Solid<\/em>, it is reported that Oscar Isaac will be playing Solid Snake, Pedro Pascal will act as Joel, and Bella Ramsey will play Ellie.<\/p>\n<p>Ghost of Tsushima will be directed by one of the individuals behind the <em>John Wick<\/em> movies, and the recently released <em>Uncharted<\/em> movie featured Tom Holland of Spider-man fame.<\/p>\n<p>Sony noted that all these projects
