PlayStation has announced<\/a><\/strong> that its next State of Play will go live this Thursday, 2 June 2022, at 23:59 SAST.<\/p>\n

The event is expected to run for around 30 minutes and will include trailers, announcements, and updates from the world of PlayStation.<\/p>\n

While the last PlayStation State of Play focused exclusively on Hogwarts Legacy, this week\u2019s showcase won\u2019t be dedicated to a single game, as it is set to focus on PS5 third-party titles and PSVR games.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019ll have some exciting reveals from our third-party partners, plus a sneak peek at several games in development for PlayStation VR2,\u201d said Sony senior manager of content communications Brett Elson.<\/p>\n

Since the blog post does not refer to Sony\u2019s first-party games, the odds of seeing upcoming PS5 exclusives, such as God of War Ragnar\u00f6k<\/em> or Spider-Man 2, <\/em>are low.<\/p>\n

However, the mention of several PSVR games could mean that we will get a first look at Horizon: Call of the Mountain<\/em>, or perhaps the stream will confirm the long-rumoured Resident Evil Village<\/em> VR mode.<\/p>\n

The stream is also likely to give fans an update on highly anticipated third-party titles such as Final Fantasy XVI, Forspoken, Gotham Knights,<\/em> and The Lord of the Rings: Gollum <\/em>\u2014 while Hogwarts Legacy<\/em> might make another appearance.<\/p>\n

Whatever PlayStation has in store, we expect this State of Play showcase to be well worth watching.<\/p>\n

The live-streamed event will be available to watch on Twitch<\/a><\/strong> and YouTube<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
