The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that the E3 event will officially return both in-person and online in 2023.<\/p>\n
E3 has not taken place for three consecutive years now, and game publishers have largely moved to host their own online events as a result.<\/p>\n
Examples of these adapted events for 2022 include previous E3 host Geoff Keighley\u2019s Summer Games Fest on 9 June and the Xbox and Bethesda Games Showcase on 12 June.<\/p>\n
Despite this move from game publishers, E3 organizers still believe that there is a desire in the gaming community to come together in person to experience the latest reveals and announcements in one place.<\/p>\n
