God of War: Ragnar\u00f6k <\/em>producer Cory Barlog took to Twitter to dismiss the rumours that the title would be getting a big announcement at the end of June 2022.<\/p>\n

This rumour has been circling the gaming community for the last couple of weeks, and many were convinced the announcement would include an official release date.<\/p>\n

However, Barlog confirmed yesterday that this supposed announcement isn\u2019t happening.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf it were up to me I would share all the information when I know about it \u2013 but it is not up to me \u2013 so please, be patient,\u201d said Barlog.<\/p>\n

This tweet from Barlog fuelled fan concerns that the highly-anticipated game will only be coming in 2023, and that the developing studio Santa Monica is just delaying this bad news.<\/p>\n

However, after one fan replied to the tweet by saying, \u201cWhy won\u2019t you all just go on and tell us that Ragnar\u00f6k<\/em> is delayed,\u201d Barlog responded to the fan by saying \u201cbecause it\u2019s not.\u201d<\/p>\n

Additionally, a recent Bloomberg report<\/a><\/strong> noted that God of War: Ragnar\u00f6k <\/em>is planned to release this November, according to three people familiar with the game\u2019s development.<\/p>\n

Although this is technically a delay, as the game was originally planned for release in September, it\u2019s still a good sign.<\/p>\n

While these dates are not official, this news should bring some relief to God of War<\/em> fans, as it points to the fact that the new title is still likely to release sometime before the end of 2022.<\/p>\n
