{"id":125672,"date":"2022-07-05T08:49:24","date_gmt":"2022-07-05T06:49:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=125672"},"modified":"2022-07-05T08:49:24","modified_gmt":"2022-07-05T06:49:24","slug":"games-leaving-playstation-plus-extra-in-july-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/playstation\/125672-games-leaving-playstation-plus-extra-in-july-2022","title":{"rendered":"Games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra in July 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sony has confirmed that two games will be leaving the PlayStation Plus Extra lineup this month.<\/p>\n<p>These titles and the dates at which they will be removed are as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Shadow Warrior 3 \u2014<\/strong> <strong>5 July<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Syberia \u2014<\/strong> <strong>19 July<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>Shadow Warrior 3<\/i>\u00a0is the latest instalment of the popular\u00a0<i>Shadow Warrior<\/i>\u00a0first-person shooter series and was a day one PS Now title.<\/p>\n<p><i>Syberia\u00a0<\/i>is an action-adventure game that earned very positive reviews, and PlayStation gamers who are interested in the genre should be sure to check it out while it&#8217;s still available.<\/p>\n<p>PS Plus Extra&#8217;s lineup of games works differently to the free PS Plus games that subscribers are able to claim every month.<\/p>\n<p>Like PlayStation Now, the PS Plus Extra games rotate in and out of availability, and subscribers aren&#8217;t able to claim them for their collection.<\/p>\n<p>This means that even if you have them downloaded on your console, you will still lose access to them.<\/p>\n<p>However, despite losing <em>Syberia <\/em>and <em>Shadow Warrior 3<\/em>, subscribers to PlayStation Plus Extra will be receiving <em>Stray<\/em> as part of the service on the same day it launches \u2014 19 July.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Stray scampers to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium on July 19.
