ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has announced that its latest mobile technology lineup will be the ROG Phone 6 and ROG Phone 6 Pro – both designed to offer a robust suite of features for gamers and content consumers.<\/p>\n

Both phones will boast the latest Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Mobile Platform with 3.2GHz CPU clock speeds and advanced GameCool 6 cooling systems for enhanced performance.<\/p>\n

Notably, the Phone 6 range will allow gamers to tune the phone’s performance settings for different games.<\/p>\n

The phones will also have an adjustable refresh rate allowing for performance from 60Hz to 165Hz depending on the game and user preferences.<\/p>\n

The Phone 6’s screen is a 6.78-inch AMOLED HDR 10+ display with a 720Hz sampling rate and 23ms touch latency.<\/p>\n

It is also equipped with a GameFX audio system boasting seven-magnet dual speakers and a 3.5mm headphone jack.<\/p>\n

The sound system has also been optimised with the aid of Swedish digital audio pioneer Dirac.<\/p>\n

The ROG Phone 6 comes with 18GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512 GB of storage space, and a 6,000 mAh battery capacity to ensure long battery life even while gaming.<\/p>\n

It will also be equipped with a triple-camera system featuring a flagship Sony \u00ae IMX766 50 MP main wide-angle camera, an ultrawide 13 MP second camera, a macro camera, and a 12 MPO front camera.<\/p>\n

ASUS also revealed that it is launching a new series of ROG Cetra True Wireless gaming headphones, a ROG Delta series of gaming headsets, and a collection of ROG Phone 6 accessories.<\/p>\n

The new lineup of phones is expected to launch in South Africa sometime in September at the earliest, and pricing will be shared closer to the date.<\/p>\n

There is currently no plan to bring the accessories to South Africa – just the phones.<\/p>\n
