{"id":126043,"date":"2022-09-07T08:05:39","date_gmt":"2022-09-07T06:05:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=126043"},"modified":"2022-09-07T08:05:39","modified_gmt":"2022-09-07T06:05:39","slug":"deltarune-wont-get-a-new-chapter-this-year","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/pc\/126043-deltarune-wont-get-a-new-chapter-this-year","title":{"rendered":"Deltarune won&#8217;t get a new chapter this year"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Developer Toby Fix has announced that despite making good progress, the next chapter for Deltarune won&#8217;t be released this year.<\/p>\n<p>Toby Fox, the developer of the acclaimed Undertale and now Deltarune, announced in a Tweet and added that while no new chapters of the game are coming this year, fans can look forward to some special next week in celebration of Undetale&#8217;s and Deltarune&#8217;s anniversary.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">We won&#8217;t be able to put out any new chapters of DELTARUNE this year&#8230; But as usual, we have a little something specil planned for the anniversary of UT\/DR Ch2&#8230; See you next week!<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 tobyfox (@tobyfox) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/tobyfox\/status\/1566962055470784519?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">September 6, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>Following Deltarune Chapter 2 last year, Toby Fox also revealed that the following three chapters would release simultaneously &#8211; this could explain the delay and the lack of a release this year.<\/p>\n<p>Notably, chapter 2 was reportedly excellent and well-received.
