{"id":126195,"date":"2024-02-26T09:25:20","date_gmt":"2024-02-26T07:25:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/?p=126195"},"modified":"2024-02-26T09:47:20","modified_gmt":"2024-02-26T07:47:20","slug":"baldurs-gate-3-modding-support-larian-says-players-will-learn-more-soon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/pc\/126195-baldurs-gate-3-modding-support-larian-says-players-will-learn-more-soon","title":{"rendered":"Huge update on Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3 mod support"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Larian Studios has confirmed that it is working on cross-platform mod support for Baldur\u2019s Gate 3, and it expects this to release later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This update comes from Larian Director of Publishing Michael Douse, who said that players will receive a formal update about what mod support will look like very soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He then explained that while a mod support system already exists internally, it still needs work and testing before it is ready to release to the public.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To this end, Larian Studio\u2019s community teams will begin working with the Baldur&#8217;s Gate 3 modding community ahead of the tool&#8217;s launch later this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">We\u2019ll be talking in depth about what our mod support will look like soon.
