Rockstar Games, the developer behind the hit franchises Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto, has revealed that pre-orders will open for Grand Theft Auto 6 on June 25 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Pre-orders will be available across both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, and pricing for the game has not been revealed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
GTA 6 fans have had a long wait to play a game that is arguably the most anticipated title in gaming history.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rockstar Games first confirmed that the game was in development in February 2022, and officially revealed the game in December 2023 with its first trailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The second trailer was then revealed in May 2025, where important details were revealed – such as the full names of the game’s two protagonists. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Originally set to launch in 2025, the game was first pushed back to 26 May 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A second delay pushed the release date to 19 November 2026 – a date that now seems to be locked in with the new announcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The game will take place in Vice City – a fictitious version of Miami – and is focused on two main characters: Jason and Lucia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rockstar Games’ description of the game’s story is “when an easy score goes wrong, they find themselves on the darkest side of the sunniest place in America, in the middle of a criminal conspiracy stretching across the state of Leonida.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
