In September 2009 Afrihost stunned the ADSL market when they launched their R29 per GB ADSL offering.<\/p>\n
At the time, the standard per-GB pricing typically ranged between R50 and R70 per GB, and Afrihost slashed their own data bundle pricing from R57 per GB to R29 per GB.<\/p>\n
The company has now done the same in the prepaid ADSL market with its latest promotion: Prepaid ADSL priced at R15 per GB.<\/p>\n
Afrihost cut their usual pricing or R39 per GB by 61%, but at the same time reduced the maximum lifetime of the data from twelve months to three months.<\/p>\n
The new Afrihost prepaid accounts offer subscribers up to 3 months (92 days) to use the data after the purchase date of the data.<\/p>\n
According to Afrihost, their new prepaid data accounts use unshaped data from Internet Solutions.<\/p>\n
