Reinvention is so last whenever, now it’s all about “going back to what made it amazing” the first time around, and making the same stuff over again. That’s the case with Halo 4, apparently, because the other games weren’t amazing or something.<\/p>\n
“One of the key things with Halo 4 is going back to what made it amazing for people playing the first Halo,” Microsoft UK entertainment director Stephen McGill tells MCV<\/a>, dropping a rare bit of info about the game.<\/p>\n The same big idea is behind the company’s recent confirmation that they’re remaking the original game for an HD relaunch later this year.<\/p>\n “The tenth anniversary is huge and is a product of great passion. It’s important we celebrate this – the game itself was a huge milestone for us and kickstarted the platform in a lot of ways.<\/p>\n “But the platform has evolved dramatically in that time, so it’s worth going back to show how it still stands up as a product made today.<\/p>\n “The people who are 18 years old now were only eight when Halo appeared. They probably didn’t play it. That’s the opportunity the Anniversary pack and then Halo 4 have,” he says.<\/p>\n
