No mod tools for Battlefield 3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>DICE has announced that Battlefield 3 won&rsquo;t be shipping with any mod tools. It&rsquo;s the end of the world, etc.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;As of now, we are not going to make any modding tools,&rdquo; the company&#8217;s Patrick S&ouml;derlund tells German mag, GameStar (via <a href=\" http:\/\/www.pcgamer.com\/2011\/07\/05\/battlefield-3-dev-we-are-not-going-to-make-any-modding-tools\/\" target=\"_blank\">PC Gamer<\/a>). &#8220;If you look at the Frostbite engine, and how complex it is, it&rsquo;s going to be very difficult for people to mod the game, because of the nature of the set up of levels, of the destruction and all those things&#8230; it&rsquo;s quite tricky.
