{"id":12850,"date":"2011-07-11T15:12:00","date_gmt":"2011-07-11T13:12:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"mass-effect-3-demo-makes-first-contact","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/12850-mass-effect-3-demo-makes-first-contact","title":{"rendered":"Mass Effect 3 demo makes first contact"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A transmission containing a morsel of information about the demo for BioWare&rsquo;s third instalment in the action-RPG space opera Mass Effect has been picked up on the ELF wavelength through MyGaming&rsquo;s powerful radio telescope array in the Karoo.<\/p>\n<p>Okay, the news actually came through <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/#!\/CaseyDHudson\/status\/89900893394321409\" target=\"_blank\">twitter<\/a>, from Mass Effect 3 executive producer Casey Hudson: &ldquo;Stay tuned for news on demo plans in a few months.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>With <a href=\"http:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/news\/11574-Mass-Effect-delayed-until-2012.html\" target=\"_self\">Mass Effect 3 recently delayed<\/a> and now pegged for some time within Q1 of 2012, the &lsquo;few months&rsquo; window is fairly vague.<\/p>\n<p>Let&rsquo;s hope that the demo does break industry trends and is actually available a reasonable time before the game launches so that all those impulse buyers can perhaps make an informed decision for once.
