{"id":12852,"date":"2011-07-11T15:40:00","date_gmt":"2011-07-11T13:40:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"dishonored-a-new-first-person-action-game-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/12852-dishonored-a-new-first-person-action-game-announced","title":{"rendered":"Dishonored, a new first-person action game announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that it will publish <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dishonored.com\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"Dishonored\">Dishonored<\/a>, a new first-person action game under development at Arkane Studios.<\/p>\n<p>Dishonored will be the studio&#8217;s first project since being acquired by Bethesda Softworks parent company ZeniMax in 2010.<\/p>\n<p>Under the direction of co-creative directors, Raphael Colantonio, lead designer on Arx Fatalis, and Harvey Smith, lead designer on Deus Ex, Dishonored is set for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and Games for Windows, in 2012.<\/p>\n<p>&ldquo;At Arkane we have a passion for creating deep, immersive game experiences,&rdquo; said Colantonio. &ldquo;To be able to finally share details of our project is both extremely exciting and satisfying.&rdquo;<\/p>\n<p>Details on Dishonored will be revealed in the exclusive cover story in Game Informer&rsquo;s August 2011 issue.
