Bethesda has announced that it will not be releasing a playable demo for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.<\/p>\n
Apparently the game is too big for a demo to do it justice, which kind of makes sense. “For a game of this size and complexity it’s really hard to do a demo that represents the game truly. And it would have to be a gigantic demo. So we won’t be doing a demo,” said Bethesda speaking to Gameplanet.<\/a><\/p>\n On one hand, it’s easy to understand why Bethesda does not feel confident about releasing a snippet of a game in which the epic scope is likely to be its main strength. On the other hand, it would have been nice to at least get a feel for it before parting with any cash.<\/p>\n Regardless, Skyrim is due out on 11 November 2011, and will be released for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360.
