Capcom has officially announced that its HD remakes of Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil: Code Veronica are launching on 20 and 27 September respectively. Both games will be released over the Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation Network, although there are also rumours of a disc-based bundle release.<\/p>\n
Pricing has yet to be confirmed, although I’d expect these tagged around 1600 MSP \/ $20 each, at least if not more.<\/p>\n
In related news, Capcom is apparently prepping to reveal Resident Evil 6 at the Tokyo Game Show, also in September. That’s according to somebody over on the Hell Descent forums<\/a>, who covertly snapped evidence during an invite-only presser at Comic Con last week. Looks legit.<\/p>\n Capcom producer Masachika Kawata said back in April that “The series will see a complete renovation with the next entry on every level. But we can’t forget about all the previous entries that have led to the creation of many possibilities for the franchise.”<\/p>\n In the meantime, there’s also Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, due out sometime this year.<\/p>\n
