Facebook is so seldom responsible for bringing joy to the world, but this is one of those special moments – a few weeks back, id Software promised that if 100 000 people pushed the “Like” button on Rage’s official Facebook page, they’d make the iOS game free for a week on the iTunes App Store. And so it has come to pass.<\/p>\n

That’s both the iPhone \/ iPod Touch and hi-def iPad versions, now available for the low, low price of absolutely nothing. How could you say no to that? Exactly.<\/p>\n

Of course, it’s not actually available on the local App Store, but that’s hardly going to stop those of us who have cough UK or US accounts, like me. I downloaded it earlier, and am thrilled to report it’s basically House of the Dead with amazing graphics. I know what I’m going to be doing when I’m supposed to be working for the next few days.<\/p>\n
