Deus Ex’s people have been talking to Team Fortress 2’s people, and it seems they’ve come to some sort of bilaterally beneficial arrangement to develop “biotechnology for the emerging mercenary market”. The real purposes are, I’m sure, entirely nefarious, but the upshot is that if you preorder Deus Ex on Steam, you’ll get yourself some special free gear in Team Fortress 2. Sounds like a deal.<\/p>\n
The eight items – which will also be available for purchase through the in-game Mann Co. store, as well as drops and crafting – feature the new Machinima rifle (Sniper), Diamondback pistol (Spy) and Widowmaker and Short Circuit guns (Engineer). There are also four new cosmetic items, including the rather hilarious looking Nanobalaclava for the Spy.<\/p>\n
