{"id":13582,"date":"2011-08-22T11:13:00","date_gmt":"2011-08-22T09:13:00","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"-0001-11-30T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"-0001-11-29T22:00:00","slug":"castlevania-harmony-of-despair-coming-to-psn-with-extra-features-xbox-dlc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mygaming.co.za\/news\/business\/13582-castlevania-harmony-of-despair-coming-to-psn-with-extra-features-xbox-dlc","title":{"rendered":"Castlevania: Harmony of Despair coming to PSN with extra features, Xbox DLC"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&rsquo;s been over a year since Castlevania: Harmony of Despair launched on the Xbox LIVE Arcade, but for those PS3 gamers hanging in there for it, that wait&rsquo;s totally going to be worth the waiting.<\/p>\n<p>Konami has announced that the PlayStation Network release will bundle some of the previously released Xbox DLC &ndash; that includes the &ldquo;Beauty, Desire, Situation Dire&rdquo; chapter add-on, featuring the Pyramid of Ruin stage, and the characters Julius Belmont and Yoko Benades &ndash; as well as a new 4-player local co-op mode, in addition to the original 6-player online co-op mode. Score!<\/p>\n<p>Harmony of Despair was met with a mixed bag of reviews the first time around, with a Metacritic rating of just 66, although its notorious difficulty might well appeal to those of you who grew up playing Real Games(tm).<\/p>\n<p>No release date has been confirmed yet, but the game is apparently expected to launch next month.
