Pathological special edition collectors, assemble!<\/p>\n

Wired has ‘leaked’ the contents of the Modern Warfare 3 Hardened Edition<\/a>, presumably ahead of what Activision had intended to be the big reveal at the Call of Duty XP event this weekend.<\/p>\n

So what goodies await your grasping clutches?<\/p>\n

•    Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 game with unique disc art.
•    One year of membership in Call of Duty Elite.
•    “Founder status” on Elite with exclusive in-game emblem, player card, camouflage, clan XP boost and other exclusive benefits.
•    SteelBook case.
•    PlayStation Network exclusive: “Animated Timeline Theme.”
•    Xbox 360 exclusive: “Special Ops Juggernaut Xbox Live Outfit.”
•    Limited-edition “field journal” with more than 100 pages of “authentic military sketches, diagrams and written entries.”<\/p>\n

No confirmation yet on pricing, obviously, and no sign of the Prestige Edition – well, that’s something Activision still has left to announce, at least, assuming there is one.<\/p>\n

If it doesn’t ship with a tank or a jet, I’m not interested.<\/p>\n
